Teagasc, Agricultural and Food Development authority, is a state agency with responsibility for research, advice and training in agriculture and forestry. Research on conventional and short-rotation forest production is based at its Centre at Kinsealy. Research on biomass as fuels is based at its Centre at Oak Park, Carlow (contact : B.
