The Energy Institute of Galicia
is a public body of the autonomous community of Galicia.
Its mission is to integrate the Galician Energy Plan and the Energy Savings and
Efficiency Plan, to attract new investment to the sector, to support firms that
transport, distribute, market or consume energy, to exploit territorial
advantages and other endogenous energy factors, to optimize energy systems and
energy training schemes and to lend support to plans for industrialization and
