ATEE brings together 1,800 members concerned with energy and environmental
matters in their professional activity : companies,
service societies, public organisations, local authorities, universities…
Its aim is to give information on new technologies, tariff and economic
trends and national and international legislation.
ATEE mainly focuses on energy management, biogas, CHP and wood-fuel
through the use of working groups, conferences and publishing the bimonthly Energie Plus review.
The "Wood-fuel inter-professional commission" was created with
the support of ADEME. It is interested in woody waste and by-products burnt in
boilers above 1 MWth.
This working group comprises of about 20 members per meeting, depending
on the topics discussed : heating equipment
manufacturers, wood suppliers, organisations for promotion, technical centres…
It participates in debates about the repurchase conditions of
biomass-generated electricity. It is also interested in polluting emissions
from installations of this type.
